Organization & Project Monitoring

In the past (till 2007), we conducted monitoring in 3 ways:

  1. Site Visits by volunteers in India
  2. Project Status Reports submitted by the beneficiary organizations.
  3. Visits by organizational president (Vasuki Subbarao) during visits to India. Please visit the Photo Gallery for copious photographs taken by Vasuki during his various site visits.

Since 2007, project monitoring on our main initiative PROJECT TERRA FIRMA occurred on a continuous basis (once in 3 weeks) since the organizational president visited the project area every three weeks and spent the whole day in the project area. We also have a local project coordination team (Savukar Raj and Shiva Kumar). In 2012, we brought in an Indian Representative Vivek Ethiraj who visits the project area once a month. Vasuki, Vivek and Savukar Raj have a 2 hour status call every Sunday (10 AM to 12 Noon USA EST).
