Ashwin Rangan
Chief Patron : Ashwin Rangan (52) is the Chief Technology Officer at Edward Life Sciences. Prior to his current role, Ashwin was the Chief Information Officer at Walmart Inc. and the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of CONEXANT. Prior to his current position, he served as Executive Director, Business Process Re-engineering and Information Technology. He received an M.S.I.E. and M.B.A. in Operations Management and Information Systems from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering in Bombay, India; a B. E. degree in Mechanical Engineering and an A.A. degree from Bangalore University. He is also actively involved in many professional organizations, primarily being the director of a chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Group. He also sits on the board of many charitable trusts. Ashwin is originally from Bangalore, India and have lived in the US for over 25 years now. He currently lives in Saratoga (“bay” area), California.
